Post-Pregnancy Weight Management Part 2

I wrote about my pregnancy weight management 10 days after giving birth, in an earlier post. A photo comparison was done about 3 months after giving birth.



I lost a total of 13 kg since giving birth. Today 5 months after giving birth, I am -1kg from my pre-pregnancy weight.

Certainly, breastfeeding has been a great help to burn calories. But I do not exercise. I did not go for those Malay post-natal massage too. I constantly feel hungry and so eat more than normal these days as well.

So how did I achieve such weight loss and slimming at the tummy within 3 months?


The secret lies in detox of the liver. 

The picture below explains it more clearly.




Detox of the liver can be achieved with suitable food nutrition.


1) Increase intake of antioxidant-rich fruits first thing in the morning

Every morning when I wake up, I will always take 1 packet of Oxyginberry, with 1 large glass of water.
The large glass of water helps flush out one night worth of toxins from my body.
Since the whole night there is no intake of food, my body will absorb Oxyginberry fully.

Oxyginberry contains large amounts of antioxidants and phytochemicals. It helps the body with repair work, and also helps the body self-create collagen.

Collagen is very important in slimming, because it helps the excess skin shrink beautifully.


2) Increase intake of fiber

As breakfast, I will consume i-shape lite. It contains psyllium husks, soy and american ginseng.
Psyllium husk is a very good source of fiber, which helps to brush out toxins and wastes from my body.
As seen in the chart above, cleansing of toxins from the body is very important for successfully slimming.

American ginseng helps improve attention. Because during slimming, it is easy to feel tired.


3) Liver detox

Just before going to bed every night, I make it a point to drink 1 capsule of Orchestra.

Orchestra contains a precious leaf from Japan called Kumazasa. 

Research has proven that Kumazasa has a cleansing effect on the blood, which is useful for lowering blood pressure. Kumazasa’s lignin has cleansing effects on the liver, enabling the liver to work more efficiently as the body’s filter. 
Bamfolin, a polysaccharide in Kumazasa, has anti-cancer properties. It also helps to strengthen cell membranes, so that cells’ absorption of nutrients and detoxification are smoother. Furthermore, Kumazasa extract promotes wound healing, and has anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties.



The combination of these 3 products, together with breastfeeding, is how I slimmed down.
